Meet Paloma - The Sweet White Chi Mix with Unusual Markings 🐶

Hey there, everyone! I'd like you all to meet Paloma, a true gem found on the streets not too long ago. Paloma is a sweet white Chihuahua mix with the most unique brown patches around her eyes.

Paloma's journey with me began when she was discovered rummaging through trash, desperately searching for food. She was skinny, frightened, and had that unmistakable look of abandonment in her eyes. Her rescuer offered her some food. To her surprise, she came over immediately, her hunger overriding her fear. Her rescuer stated that watching her devour the meal was both heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. Paloma then allowed herself to be held without hesitation. It was as if she knew she had found a safe haven.

Paloma, now at 9 months old, is a beautiful and noble soul. She's a loving and shy companion, weighing in at a petite 2.900 kg. Her playful nature is infectious, and she still carries that puppy-like enthusiasm with her everywhere she goes. She has a knack for following you around, her tail wagging with happiness, and she always seems to have a smile on her face. She gets on great with her kennel mates and does not seem to be phased by gentle dogs larger than herself.

It's incredible how much joy and warmth Paloma has brought into the shelter. She's not just a dog; she's a reminder of the resilience and capacity for love that animals possess, even after facing difficult circumstances.

Paloma is proof that a little kindness can go a long way, and she serves as a testament to the incredible companionship that rescue dogs can offer.

❣️ Please note small dogs like Paloma require a little extra care, be it with Hawks, Eagles, Coyotes and some large dogs. Please ensure you are able to provide the extra level of care that a small dog requires.❣️

Paloma is healthy, vaccinated and ready for her forever home.
