Meet Anita, a 4-year-old dog who has been in our shelter for a year. Anita is Harvey Moon's sister, (adopted) she and Harvey Moon came into SULA’s care after arriving on the back of a truck with 7 other dogs. She weighs between 10-12kg and has a shy disposition.

Anita's time at the shelter has allowed her to become accustomed to her surroundings, and she currently feels safe in this environment. She may take some time to build trust, but her behavior could potentially differ in a home setting.

We are looking for a responsible and patient individual or family who can provide Anita with the time and space she needs to adjust and thrive. It's important to understand that Anita's shyness might require some extra patience and dedication, but the rewards of helping her come out of her shell can be truly fulfilling.

What does it cost to adopt a dog?

The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.
