Barney came to us with multiple tumors, he had been living on the street, and had no one to take care of him. His tumors were found to be malignant so we decided on a course of treatment that would help him without being too invasive. We know there will be mixed opinions because of Barney’s age, but he is such a gentle sweet soul, who was still wagging his tail, for us the only choice was to give him a chance. And for a while he got better.
Unfortunately now the tumors have started to return, at the moment Barney is happy and they are not affecting him, he loves everyone, and is enjoying his time. We have decided with the advice from our vet that we are not going to put him through more treatment, but keep him comfortable while he is doing well.
We would really love for Barney to experience being in a home, as he probably never has. We want him to have his own person, so we are reaching out hoping that we can find him an end of life foster in PV, he deserves it 💙
