More about me

Hello Everyone,

My name is Delilah and I am a 2-year-old, 17 lbs., wire hair dachshund lady. While I do weigh a bit above what a typical dachshund should (as indicated by my research and not my feeling of self-worth); the explanation is simple: I may have some terrier in my genes.🐕🧬 I have gorgeous white socks, chest, and a tip of a tail as if it was painted. I do not identify myself with an art aficionado due to my beautiful markings, but rather a goddess Artemis. 🎨🖌️❌You may wonder why the Greek mythology reference… Well, my morning research revealed that my name is derived from root word Deliah that gave life to its “modern” cousin: Delilah. And yes, you guessed it – the famous goddess Artemis went by the name Delia – another form of my name… There is it! BOOM!🏹💥

Even though I share a name with a goddess of the hunt, I am a relaxed lady. I do find myself looking for a loving home, where I can feel loved every day. You do not have to worship me, nor perform ancient rituals, all I ask for is forever home filled with love.🩷💛 If you are thinking that I may require special offerings due to the significance of my name, do not fear as you do not have to hunt a wild game and present it on an alter…I will settle for a dog friendly treat of your choosing. 🥩🍗🍖

Sending my love, Delilah.

What does it cost to adopt me?

The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.

What does the fee include?

First of all, vet blood work and check up, including all needed follow-ups, any medications needed, as well as spay or neuter by our vet. Secondly, food and care while at SULA (we love all our rescues, and pour our hearts out each day to provide best life possible). Further, the vet pre-flight check up and clearance, transport to the airport, all paperwork, all vaccinations, the cost for the airline transport, and use of a kennel in transport, harness, and leash for arrival. Lastly, our endless love.
