More about me...

More about me

Dexter and his sibling, DeeDee were found abandoned on the street. They are just two months old, and so nervous, little Dexter is the darker colored one, and snuggles closely to his ever so slightly bigger sister. Dexter weighs just 1.2kg and DeeDee just 1.3kg.
We are going to do our very best to ensure these little ones get to grow up, to live a healthy and wonderful life, that will only be possible after a challenging few months.
Puppies at such a young age, are vulnerable in so many ways.
Dexter and DeeDee, have started their life already compromised, most certainly their mum is a female allowed to roam the streets, which are breeding grounds for diseases, that take the lives of young puppies.

Now they face another challenge, and it might not be what you think, it will be going to the shelter. Whilst we try to keep them as safe as possible, and they will be kept isolated, they are still so vulnerable, until they have finished their course of vaccines.

If we can find a foster home in PV, where they can be kept isolated, with somebody committed to following a strict protocol, this would help us to help them.

When Dexter and DeeDee have finished their vaccines, and have been spayed and neutered, the next part of their journey will begin. Wouldn’t it be amazing if they had homes ready and waiting for them, with their very own families? He's hoping that one day soon he will have a family to love him,
Are your his forever person and give this little guy a wonderful life?

What does it cost to adopt a dog?

The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.
