More about me...

More about me

Last week, we were contacted by a very kind lady, who had found this little baby alone l, not far from Sula, which for those that don't know, is the countryside and there is not a lot around and no reason for a small puppy to be alone on these roads.

Her rescuer was concerned that she was full of mange and although she obviously has no fur and is like a wrinkly little elephant...when she arrived with us, we weren't so sure it was mange...the next day, our vet confirmed our suspicions and it turns out that this little redheaded beauty, is part Xoloitzcuintle (A Mexican hairless dog), she is perfectly healthy, estimated to be around 7 weeks old and tomorrow she will receive her first puppy vaccine.

Of course, even healthy dogs incur costs, such as...blood work, the necessary tests on arrival, parasite treatment, vitamins, vaccines and of course, their food until they are ready to leave and in Ellies case and all of our young puppies, they are fed a good quality dry food, which is up there in cost, but it is to ensure they get the best start that they require...

To adopt little Ellie, please complete an application form.
