More about me
Hello Everyone,
” LOVE IS OUR TRUE DESTINY”
My name is Estrellita, and I am a sweet 1.8-year-old girl. I weigh only 4.3 kg (9.5 lbs), which classifies me as a toy size dog. I woke up on a beautiful sunny day in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and I was pondering my life’s purpose as I was searching for breakfast. What will the next day bring for a sweet girl like me… My days were filled with looking for food, water, shade or shelter, and my life seemed to evolve around the survival. I have heard about the show “Survivor” – but I did not fill out an application! What is going on here? All of the sudden something amazing happened…. I WAS SEEN! A kind soul scooped me up and the past is in the past as they say. 👀🐶🖤
I am getting vaccinations, deworming and as soon as my heat is over I will be spayed. No puppies for that gorgeous back diamond! Sula Society is amazing, and everyone I meet is very kind. I am getting lots of snuggles, and I appreciate the culinary selection at the rescue. 🍗🥩🫐🥕With that said, I hear stories from volunteers about adoptions and forever homes… Oh how I wish to be chosen by someone… At last, my life would have a deeper meaning. After all, don’t we all want to matter to someone? Anyone, with a kind heart and love to spare…💕❓🤔
As Thomas Merton said:
““Love is our true destiny. We do not find the meaning of life by ourselves alone we find it with another.”
Love, Estrellita.
What does it cost to adopt me?
The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.
What does the fee include?
First of all, vet blood work and check up, including all needed follow-ups, any medications needed, as well as spay or neuter by our vet. Secondly, food and care while at SULA (we love all our rescues and pour our hearts out each day to provide best life possible). Further, the vet pre-flight check up and clearance, transport to the airport, all paperwork, all vaccinations, the cost for the airline transport, and use of a kennel in transport, harness, and leash for arrival. Lastly, our endless love.
