Meet George, a delightful 3-year-old Westie mix on a quest to find his forever home in the Calgary area. George's had a family had abandoned him, so we are now on the hunt for a family that will treat him as family for the rest of his life.

George's vibrant personality shines through as he thrives in the company of both humans and fellow dogs. Weighing in at 9 pounds, this little guy is an outgoing and friendly soul, eagerly seeking companionship. If you're considering adopting George, it's important to note that he's looking for a home with at least one other dog – his fellow canines bring him a sense of comfort.

Under the care of his foster mom, George's affectionate nature has truly shined. He loves nothing more than sharing kisses and cuddles with those he trusts. George's love extends to car rides as well, and he's already showing promise on the leash, with ongoing training to eliminate pulling.

George's foster mom wants to ensure his potential adopter is aware of his specific needs. He might display some fear around unfamiliar dogs, but once he gets acquainted, his anxiousness dissipates. Handling his fear during walks is essential – George requires someone who can guide him with confidence, teaching him not to react excessively around other dogs.

This endearing little guy is ready to embark on the next chapter of his life with a compassionate family who understands his quirks and can provide him with a loving environment and a forever home.

What does it cost to adopt a dog?
