More about me
Hi Everyone,
My name is Lincoln and yes, I have an eye “situation.” Thankfully, Sula took me to see their caring vet, and I am getting an examination and something called “eye assessment.” I am not sure what it all entails, but apparently, I have prolapsed third eyelid.🙄⚕️My biographer had to get over her “boo-boo” phobia and google this thing so she can explain my predicament… 🛜Here it goes, bare with us, as we are not medical professionals, and because we can look things up – it does not mean that we are experts (poking a bear here?!🐻👈). No health or beauty advice from us! Maybe a gentle sarcasm. That we can do!📌
I have learned that there are many reasons for so called “cherry eye” and some of them include irritation to the eye, eye injury, eye infection, and severe dehydration. The secret will stay with me to how this situation started, but it ends soon. Despite the fact that cherries are described as delectable, I do not want to keep mine. Take it off dear doctor!🍒✂️
At this time, I have to get through my medical dealings eye and non-eye related in hopes to find a loving home. Home that will be mine regardless of how I age (not all of us look frozen in time), a home that will value my wisdom, and not replace me because I got old. I would have a one request if you consider adopting me in a future – no cherry pie please! Things would get weird for both of us… 🥧🚫
Other than that, I am a chilled dude, small enough to travel under a seat if you want to take me along on an adventure. I can sit in a car in a basket or in the back, you name it. Just don’t let me drive – I cannot reach the brakes! I am 4 years old (August 06), and I weigh in at 4 kg just so you have all my stats. Oh yes, and I am a LEO.🦁❣️
Love, Lincoln.
P.S. I do have a second eye – it is hard to see it in the pictures. I was just squinting to add some mystery during my check-up.
What does it cost to adopt me?
The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.
What does the fee include?
First of all, vet blood work and check up, including all needed follow-ups, any medications needed, as well as spay or neuter by our vet. Secondly, food and care while at SULA (we love all our rescues, and pour our hearts out each day to provide best life possible). Further, the vet pre-flight check up and clearance, transport to the airport, all paperwork, all vaccinations, the cost for the airline transport, and use of a kennel in transport, harness and leash for arrival. Lastly, our endless love.
