💙🩵 Lofty 🩵💙

This is Lofty, he is an older boy, who has clearly been in need of help for a long time.
So many people must have seen him and walked right on by.
Looking at a dog in a situation like this is hard, looking away is easy, doing something is essential, doing nothing is unforgivable.
I am sure at one point when Lofty was young, he was the pride of his owner, but now because he is older he is discarded, like an old toy just before Christmas. Except he is not a toy, he is a living being, who even now if he saw his owner would probably be happy to see him/her.
We are not sure yet what we can do for Lofty, even if there is anything we can do. What we won't be doing is looking away, or walking away, that is not an option.
