More about me
My name is Lomi and I just got to Sula. At 3 months old I am very tiny (3 lbs – August 30, 2024), therefore most likely I will be in a toy dog category. The weight seems important to many people as they travel on a plane, or just seek a petite dog. For me, every dog is beautiful, and hopes to find a loving, forever home (I am sure). After this disclaimer, let me tell you who I am… Even though I am small in stature, and still in a puppyhood stage of my life, I would like to consider myself “every person’s dog.” 🐶💓
Have you heard of a saying that someone is an “everyman?” By definition “everyman” is the typical or ordinary person. Somehow those descriptors often have a negative connotation… Is average not appealing? Is typical not desirable? What if I say that I am an “every person’s dog” … I am implying that I could be anyone’s dog and best friend – that is a very positive thing! 📚❓
I will love you forever and reveal my true self to you. I am a dog after all, and some of my traits are specific to who I am at the core. I will need some training and guidance to become a proud member of your household, and an outstanding canine citizen. But as I follow your lead, I ask for one thing: we will walk this path together from start to finish. Through all seasons, all years, till the end. 🌅🌇
As an amazing American author Lauren Oliver wrote:
“Sometimes I feel like if you just watch things, just sit still and let the world exist in front of you – sometimes I swear that just for a second, time freezes and the world pauses in its tilt. Just for a second. And if you somehow found a way to live in that second, then you would live forever.”🌏🌹🌻
Would you like to pause with me? I am here… Waiting.
Love, Lomi
What does it cost to adopt me?
The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.
What does the fee include?
First of all, vet blood work and check up, including all needed follow-ups, any medications needed, as well as spay or neuter by our vet. Secondly, food and care while at SULA (we love all our rescues, and pour our hearts out each day to provide best life possible). Further, the vet pre-flight check up and clearance, transport to the airport, all paperwork, all vaccinations, the cost for the airline transport, and use of a kennel in transport, harness and leash for arrival. Lastly, our endless love.
