More about me

Meet Mateo, a charming little guy with a heart full of love, longing for a forever home to call his own. This adorable 4-year-old, 2.6 kg Chi mix has a striking black and tan coat that's sure to steal your heart.
Mateo's journey to finding a forever home has been a bit of an adventure. He was discovered wandering outside a kind individual's grandmother's house, having already roamed the streets for three long days. This compassionate soul couldn't bear to see him alone and took him in. However, the resident dogs in their home weren't quite as welcoming as they'd hoped, so the rescuer's sister stepped in to care for this precious pup.

He's on a course of doxycycline to address a condition known as ehrlichia. Rest assured that Mateo's health is a priority, and with the right care and attention, he's expected to make a full recovery.
Mateo is not just a cute face; he's a bundle of affection waiting to shower a loving family with warmth and joy. Here's what makes him so special:

💖 Tender and Affectionate: Mateo is a sweetheart who thrives on love and cuddles. He's the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal and affectionate fur baby.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Great with Children: Mateo adores respectful children and enjoys their company. He's gentle and patient, making him an ideal addition to a family with kids.

🐶 Noble Nature: Despite his tough start, Mateo has maintained his noble and resilient spirit. He's ready to leave his past behind and create a bright future with a caring family.

Mateo's search for his forever home is ongoing, and he deserves nothing but the best. Are you the one who can offer this little guy the love and security he's been longing for?

❣️ Please note small dogs like Mateo require a little extra care, be it with Hawks, Eagles, Coyotes and some large dogs. Please ensure you are able to provide the extra level of care that a small dog requires.❣️
Mateo is fully vaccinated once finished his course of doxy he will ready for his forever home.
