“HOME ISN’T WHERE YOU’RE FROM, IT’S WHERE YOU FIND LIGHT WHEN ALL GROWS DARK” – Pierce Brown. 🏠🏢🌃🌉
My name is Mila and I am a tiny lady who weighs under 10 lbs! I begin my introduction with my stats in hopes of finding a loving home. I am 4.5 years old, and my exact weight is 4 kg (8.8 lbs).
I woke up today when the world was still dark, and the stars were shining brightly in the sky…
I listened to a heavy snorer next door… I do not want to mention any names, because I am a very courteous lady (you know who you are). Oh, the darkness made me feel melancholy… I reminisce about my past, everything that I have been through and I wonder what each new day will bring. 🌄🌇🌅
Every so often there is lots of commotion at the Sula’s shelter. Barbara or a volunteer charges through the doors, looking for dogs ready to fly. Their hair is wild, and their voices are excited. What does that mean? Did some dogs get a pilot licence? Oh wait… One of my roommates’ whispers: those dogs are adopted. They are flying today on a plane to their forever homes! Wow! ✈️🌍The shelter comes alive in that very second as the whisper becomes a shout! HOME! THEY ARE GOING HOME! We all stand at our gates cheering, bouncing, and dancing! AMAZING DAY! SAFE TRAVELS FRIENDS! After the gates of the shelter close we look around at each other… There are so many of us… Oh how all of us wish to be chosen…
Home… Emotionally charged word for every dog in the world, yet it feels almost unattainable at times.
I HOPE FOR A LOVING HOME. I will warm your heart and brighten your life.
I AM HERE.
Love, Mila.💘
What does it cost to adopt me?
The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.
What does the fee include?
First of all, vet blood work and check up, including all needed follow-ups, any medications needed, as well as spay or neuter by our vet. Secondly, food and care while at SULA (we love all our rescues and pour our hearts out each day to provide best life possible). Further, the vet pre-flight check up and clearance, transport to the airport, all paperwork, all vaccinations, the cost for the airline transport, and use of a kennel in transport, harness, and leash for arrival. Lastly, our endless love.
