Once upon a time in a little town far from here, there lived a small, scruffy terrier mix named Molly. With her fluffy, wild fur and endearing resemblance to a character straight out of a Jim Henson creation, Molly was a true diamond in the rough. But her life had been far from the fairy tale it should have been.
❤️ ☺️ (First photo adapted to give the idea if Molly were to meet Disney, it's actually very close to how she looks). 😊❤️
Molly's story is one of heartache, resilience, and the power of love to heal even the deepest wounds. You see, Molly's previous owner had treated her with neglect and cruelty. Alcohol was often involved in his actions, and the neighbour’s couldn't bear to watch her suffer any longer. They chose a different path for her.
The concerned neighbours called the police, and her owner was faced with a choice: jail or surrendering Molly. He chose to let her go, and that decision would change Molly's life forever. She arrived at a place filled with compassionate souls who were determined to give her the love and care she deserved.
When Molly first arrived, she was a filthy, matted mess. Her physical condition mirrored the emotional scars she carried with her. But beneath that tangled fur and fearful eyes, there was a spark of resilience. The first visit to the vet revealed that Molly was battling TVT (transmissible venereal tumor) and a few other health issues. But Molly was a fighter. Chemo treatments were administered, and she embraced the battle with a spirit that left everyone in awe.
Molly's determination was truly inspiring, and she made remarkable progress on her journey to recovery. It was as if she knew that life had better things in store for her. What the chemo didn't take off her hair, the groomer did, and Molly finally emerged from her cocoon, revealing the beautiful soul that had been hidden for so long.
Today, Molly is a transformed dog, both inside and out. At three years old and weighing in at a petite 4.9 kilograms, she may be a bit of a nervous diva, but who could blame her? She has earned the right to demand a little extra care and attention. Molly's striking appearance, often compared to a little rabbit, only adds to her charm.
But the true magic of Molly shines through when she interacts with her new friend, Ziggy, a black Chi who has already found his forever home. When Molly and Ziggy play together, it's like watching a pair of kindred spirits who have found solace in each other's company. Their playful antics and joyful moments bring tears of happiness to the eyes of all who witness their play.
❣️ Please note small dogs like Molly require a little extra care, be it with Hawks, Eagles, Coyotes and some large dogs. Please ensure you are able to provide the extra level of care that a small dog requires.❣️
Molly is healthy, vaccinated and ready for her forever home.
