More about me...

More about me

Hello Everyone,

My name is Nina, and I just made my way (with help of course) to Sula’s vet. I have a mange all over my body, and life up to my rescue stunk (🔍looking for eloquent way to say stunk). I found a word “desolated” which means wretched and unhappy, but somehow the first choice word aligns with how I felt at the core of my soul. 🌦️❣️

As you see my spirits are rather low, as I hang my head and lower my ears… I found out at the vet that I will be isolated during my treatment, as my skin condition is contagious. Lonely times continue, however, there is hope. I get visits and medication (on top of delicious food of course). I am told that my separation is temporary, which gives me some relief. ⛅🌻My skin is starting to feel better every day, and I look forward to meeting dogs and more people. I am 3.5 years old, and weigh only 11 lbs.

I am seeking a loving home once I recover, and my small size classifies me as tiny travel companion candidate. ✈️🚂🚅🚌 It is a mouthful, but I need to promote myself the best I can. ⚠️🐕I would like to add, that despite my predicament, I am very sweet and loving. I hold no grudges for those who neglected me, and I look forward to snuggling beside you. Do you need a tiny lady in your life who is a true survivor and sweet gal?

Look no further. I am here.

Sending virtual hugs, Nina.🤗🩷

What does it cost to adopt me?

The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.

What does the fee include?

First of all, vet blood work and check up, including all needed follow-ups, any medications needed, as well as spay or neuter by our vet. Secondly, food and care while at SULA (we love all our rescues and pour our hearts out each day to provide best life possible). Further, the vet pre-flight check up and clearance, transport to the airport, all paperwork, all vaccinations, the cost for the airline transport, and use of a kennel in transport, harness, and leash for arrival. Lastly, our endless love.
