More about me
Hello Everyone,
My name is Popeye and I am only 4-month-old boy who was found looking for food by the side of a very busy road. 🛣️ At this time, I weigh only 3.4 kg. Contrary to my name I do not like spinach and I was not looking for it when I was found. 🍃❎I am grateful to be picked up by The SULA and I can imagine my life will be better from this day forward. My food bowl will be full, and my innocence will be cherished. As I look into the soul of every person I meet I can see the glow of love. Wow, this is what unconditional love looks like… 🥰
As I put on a bit of weight and get through medical protocols in preparation for adoption, I cannot help but wonder if I do have anything in common with the beloved Popeye of the cartoon world… I suppose we both come from the humble beginnings. While I am not as strong as my “name-fellow,” I am as resilient. I am a survivor with loving heart and desire to matter to someone. I do not need my own theme park like the cartoon Popeye, just a warm bed, and a life filled with love. Of course, cookie here or there will not hurt (as long as it is not spinach flavor.)🫙🥓🥩🍗🍖
As I await your application to adopt me, I would like to leave you with this quote by Ernest Holmes:
“Life is a mirror and will reflect back to the thinker what he thinks into it.”🪞
Love, Popeye💞
P.S. I am thinking: my family is out there; my family is out there….
What does it cost to adopt me?
The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.
What does the fee include?
First of all, vet blood work and check up, including all needed follow-ups, any medications needed, as well as spay or neuter by our vet. Secondly, food and care while at SULA (we love all our rescues and pour our hearts out each day to provide best life possible). Further, the vet pre-flight check up and clearance, transport to the airport, all paperwork, all vaccinations, the cost for the airline transport, and use of a kennel in transport, harness, and leash for arrival. Lastly, our endless love.
