🐾 Meet Wednesday, a one-year-old, 15kg black beauty with a dash of dark charm.
Named after Wednesday Adams, she possesses a unique personality that sets her apart from the pack. While she currently resides with other house dogs, it's evident that she has claimed her place as the top dog.
Wednesday's unpredictable nature is part of her enigmatic allure. She loves water and is an avid swimmer and fetch enthusiast. Patiently waiting for someone to throw a toy into the water, she showcases her playful side, making her a delightful companion for those who enjoy outdoor activities.
Though she may be dominant among other dogs, it is essential to note that her pack consists of dogs she has known since puppyhood. Her interactions with unfamiliar dogs might require careful introductions and management.
Finding the right home for Wednesday might seem challenging, given her dark fur color. Black dogs often face adoption challenges, even in the best of circumstances. But we are determined to find her a forever home, preferably one without other pets, where she can shine as the sole focus of attention.
We are searching for that "unicorn home" – a loving family or individual who understands Wednesday's quirks and can provide the guidance and structure she needs. Someone who appreciates her uniqueness and is committed to helping her become the best version of herself.
Wednesday's journey started with her mom, Fiona, who came into the shelter with all her puppies. Now it's time for Wednesday to find her own place in the world, a place where she can thrive and form a strong bond with her human companion.
If you're an active person seeking a loyal and adventurous buddy, Wednesday might be the perfect match for you. By adopting Wednesday, you not only open your heart to a remarkable dog but also break the stigma surrounding black dogs in shelters.
What does it cost to adopt a dog?
